What do I need?

• Application form printed after applying online (apply.seojeong.ac.kr). Photos 3.5 x 4.5 cm taken within 6 months: 2 if both your parents are foreign (table 가), 1 if you finished all your schooling abroad (table 나)
• Final-school graduation certificate, 1 copy: an apostilled original, or an original confirmed by your country's consul or by a Korean mission. Countries outside the Apostille Convention need consular legalisation
• Full transcript of the final school, 1 copy
• Both parents foreign (table 가): a family relation certificate issued by your government, 1 copy; proof of foreign nationality (citizenship or passport copies of you and your parents)
• Whole schooling abroad (table 나): an entry and exit record (출입국사실증명서), 1 copy (passport and ID can replace it); a Korean language institute transcript and attendance certificate for the summer and fall terms, 2 copies each, if you have them
• Language proof for your track (Korean or English), of a kind the Ministry of Education or Justice rules allow, if it applies to you
• Schools in China, as printed: general high school, a notarised translation of the certificate plus a CHSI (www.chsi.com.cn) verification report; vocational high school, one of the two routes on PDF p.8 plus a 학교정보확인서
• ADMITTED APPLICANTS ONLY (visa change): bank balance proof, 2 originals, 10,000,000 won or more in your own name; 1 photo; proof of residence; health insurance payment certificate; integrated application form; passport and alien card

BANK BALANCE: 10,000,000 won or more in your own name ("본인명의의 10,000,000KRW 이상 잔액증빙서류"), 2 originals, filed by admitted applicants with the visa-change papers by 4 December 2026.

The guide prints no application fee and no entrance fee (입학금). TUITION: no table; after the entrance scholarship every field pays 2,300,000 won (실 납입금액), no period printed. The refund table (p.10) counts this 등록금 from the semester start.

The entrance scholarship printed per field: natural sciences 1,258,770 won; humanities and social 779,770 won; engineering 1,276,770 won. It is already taken off the 2,300,000 won; do not subtract it again.

Results 24 November 2026 online (apply.seojeong.ac.kr); tuition 25 to 29 November 2026 to a Shinhan Bank virtual account. Not paying in time counts as giving up the place.

Overseas transfers: file proof of the transfer date; the money must reach the school's account within 7 days of the deadline, and any exchange-rate shortfall is settled before the registration counts.

Issue dates: the screening table says papers issued within 1 month of the application; note 6 says within 6 months of the deadline (home-country certificates follow Ministry of Justice rules). Both are printed.

Refund if you give up: all before the semester starts; 5/6 within 30 days of it; 2/3 within 60; 1/2 within 90; nothing after. Korean bank accounts only; part of a scholarship may have to be paid back.

Papers must arrive by 10 November 2026. The guide prints "대학 방문 및 우편" (in person or by post, p.6) and "직접 방문 제출" (in person, 10:00 to 17:00, not 12:00 to 13:00, p.7): ask before you post. Overseas originals that arrive later may be accepted up to the interview day. False papers cancel the admission.

Giving up after paying: file a 입학포기원 at the admissions office with your and a guardian's signature, a bank book copy and the tuition receipt. Refunds go to your own account (a parent or another account only with the school's form).

The guide prints both "국내 계좌로만 환불 가능" (Korean accounts only) and that exchange-rate and transfer costs of a refund to an overseas account are yours. Ask which applies before you leave Korea.

DORMITORY: no fee is printed in the guide or on the dormitory site. The site shows rooms for international students (3- and 4-person rooms in 국제관); international dormitory office +82-31-870-8952.

Registration windows as printed: main 10 to 12 February 2027, extra 1 to 26 February 2027. Orientation 23 February 2027; classes 2 March 2027.

All requirements

• 호텔외식조리과 (Hotel Culinary Arts) takes only applicants with TOPIK 3 or higher (or equal Korean), as printed
• WHO: foreigners in Korea who are (6호) North Korean defectors or foreigners whose parents are BOTH foreigners, or (7호) people who finished the whole of primary and secondary school abroad
• Under 7호 the guide names overseas Koreans, foreigners, and marriage migrants naturalised under Nationality Act article 6(2)
• If you or either parent holds Korean nationality you do not count as a foreigner and cannot apply; a dual nationality found later cancels the admission
• SCHOOLING: the whole 12-year primary and secondary course in one country's system, or in two or more foreign schools with different systems (a shortfall of up to one semester from system differences or early graduation is accepted)
• Provisional or temporary graduation certificates are not accepted on their own. School-leaving exams and homeschooling are not mentioned in the guide
• KOREAN TRACK, one of: TOPIK 2 or higher; King Sejong Institute beginner 2 or higher completed; KIIP stage 2 completed or a pre-test score of 41 or higher; or the admissions office's own assessment that your Korean is enough
• ONLY for 글로벌요양복지과 (Global Care Welfare) and English-course applicants and 자격유지자 (status keepers), as printed under 우대사항, these meet the language rule: a health-field (nursing, pharmacy) or fire-service associate degree or higher
• Same groups only: certified nurse or nursing-assistant care experience; F-4 or overseas-Korean proof; F-1, F-3, E-7/E-9, G-1-5/G-1-6 visas; a passed English-course interview
• A KIIP confirmation of stage 4 or lower may not count as valid language proof; ask before you file it
• SELECTION: documents, 100 points. Overseas applicants and departments that ask also have an interview (in person or by video): motivation and study plan, aptitude, Korean speaking, academic ability. A missed interview fails
• A department may be closed if fewer than 20 applicants are admitted; department names and recruitment may change before the semester. Places are outside the quota (정원외); the guide's table gives each unit a planned number
• TUITION: the guide prints no tuition table. After the entrance scholarship every field pays 2,300,000 won (실 납입금액). No period is printed; the guide's refund table (p.10) counts this 등록금 from the semester start, so it is shown a semester
• The guide prints no application fee and no entrance fee (입학금). Whether the 2,300,000 won includes an entrance fee is not stated: ask the admissions office. Later tuition follows the school's rules
• AFTER ADMISSION: tuition 25 to 29 November 2026 (Shinhan Bank virtual account); visa-change papers by 4 December 2026; registration 10 to 12 February 2027 (printed extra window 1 to 26 February); orientation 23 February; classes 2 March
• Missing the 23 February 2027 orientation because you have not arrived can cancel the admission. So can a refused visa, a failed D-2 visa change before the semester starts, or false papers (paid tuition is then not refunded)
• AFTER THE DEGREE: a 전공심화과정 top-up (2 more years, 1 year after the 3-year Medical Coordination degree) leads to a bachelor's (학사). It has its own Spring 2027 guide (also 2 to 5 November 2026) and is not listed here as a degree
• Only applicants who pass the document screening are interviewed; bring your passport or ID. If applicants exceed the places, the admissions committee ranks them and may name a waiting list
• Upload every required paper when you apply online: a missing upload can fail you whatever originals you send. No edits or cancellation after you submit. Give a phone, e-mail and address where you can be reached
• Expected graduates: file the final graduation certificate and final transcript by the school's deadline, or the admission is cancelled
